Rather than get up in arms like I normally do, I see this is a challenge. As an "in". This is it--this is how I can finally seeing what is going on on the other side. And, while I'm at it, get paid.
The way I see it, this mission is perfect for me-I will be able to get in with the Obama-nuts and see what it is that they think, what they are being told, what their goals are...and hey, I'll probably be the most successful and dedicated one there so I will likely take it over. Luckily, I have one awesome trait that will make this mission suprisingly simple: I am fake. I would say I am like a chameleon and change to my given surroundings, but that is not entirely true. I never actually change--I am still me...But I am excellent at getting people to think I am something I am not.
Yes, I realize that by me publishing a blog about it, I am essentially risking my cover, but the blog is necessary. I need to chronicle my infiltration and on-going knowledge in a semi-public forum to ensure my safety...and sanity. Besides, I don't think the screening process is that intense (please see the application process for proof). I should be safe.
STAGE ONE: THE APPLICATION
The application asked me a total of six things:
Name, Phone Number, Email, Gender (DISCRIMINATION!!!), college graduate and why I wanted to work for them. I dont' want to start out on the wrong foot, so I figure I will just go ahead and be honest. Here is what I wrote:
As a result of the past Presidential election, I have become inspired to get involved and change the direction of America. The world that we have recently created for ourselves is not sustainable and if we are to live and prosper as a people, things must change. I believe I can make a difference.
It's vague. It's filled with ambiguity. It's lofty and uncommittal. It's perfect.
more to come...
